Ingredients
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 1tbsp tbspextra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice 2 2tbsp tbspfresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar 1/2 1/2tsp tspapple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley 2 2tbsp tbspchopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 1/2tsp tspsalt
- 1/2 tsp cumin 1/2 1/2tsp tspcumin
- 2 tbsp Splenda® No Calorie Sweetener, Granular 2 2tbsp tbspSplenda® No calorie Sweetener, Granular
- 1 (19 oz) can chick peas , (garbanzo beans) drained1 1(19 oz) can (19 oz) canchick peas, (garbanzo beans) drained
- 2 cups chopped red bell peppers 2 2cups cupschopped red bell pepperred bell peppers
Preparation
Spray non-stick sautee pan with olive oil spray. Sautee red peppers for 4 to 5 minutes. Set aside.
In food processor, add all ingredients including red peppers.
Puree for 1 minute, scrape the sides, and continue to puree until smooth. Refrigerate until serving time.
