Cycling Through Shakespeare's England

To bike, or not to bike, that is the question I just returned from a trip to England during which I spent a good chunk of the time on a bicycle. Touring Shakespeare country (starting in Stratford-upon-Avon), rolling through the Cotswolds, over-nighting in Oxfordshire and eventually skirting around Windsor Castle on the way into London, ranks as one of my best active-meets-cultural trips I've ever experienced. I'll be writing a lot more about this cycling trip in England but in the meantime, here are some images to inspire you.   Cycling through Cotswolds Cycling through England Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon Anne Hathaway's cottage, Stratford-upon-Avon Cycling through Oxford Cycling through the Chilterns Cycling through Windsor, England If you're keen to plan a cycling trip in England, I highly recommend The Carter Company (friendly staff, seasoned cyclists, witty travel mates). (And stay tuned for details on my visit to a proper bicycle shop where I fell in love with a bright yellow beauty I wanted to take home with me!)
