Day 8: Philosophy Hands of Hope ornament

If you're looking for a great gift idea for those sometimes forgotten people on your list, such as your kid's teacher or a close colleague – or maybe just someone close to you who has dry hands – t his Philosophy Hands of Hope ornament is a perfect present.

Since Philosophy launched in 1996, the brand has been hailed for its clever packaging. However, during the holidays they really kick it up a notch. Not only do they create limited edition Christmas packaging, but they also offer holiday-themed scents in their roster of products. If you're into dessert-like scented skincare products then you've got to check out their seasonal offerings, such as "Cinnamon Buns" and "Toasted Marshmallow" – and I can't forget to mention "Old Fashioned Eggnog." These sweet holiday scents come in lip glosses, body lotion, bubble bath, shampoo and conditioner, and many more beauty delights. A personal recommendation I'm going to put out there is: Don't give a gourmand-scented gift (whether it's a skincare product, perfume or a candle) to someone who you don't know well. I find sweet scents are very polarizing, you either love 'em or you hate 'em. That's why you'll be safe with the Philosophy Hands of Hope Hand and Cuticle Cream (30 mL, $13 ) as a gift for someone who you're not super tight with. It's a nice neutral fragance. For your chance to  win this Philosophy Hands of Hope Hand and Cuticle Cream (valued at $13), leave a comment letting us know what your go-to brand and scent of hand cream is. One week from now we'll choose a winner at random. Good luck! CONTEST CLOSED. Congratulations Pamela Jessen!

Contest closes December 15, 2012, at 12:00 p.m. (EST). You can enter once only. You’re eligible only if you live in Canada and are of the age of majority in the province/territory you live in. Not open to any TC Media employees or the people they live with.
