Ever since I was a pre-teen, that still pretended to believe in Santa Clause, I always had something from M.A.C's holiday offerings on my wish list. To this day my Dad still gifts my sister and I with a matching Holiday brush kit or a limited edition palette. I just can't break it to him that I've had the collection sitting in the beauty closet since September.

I'm particularly smitten with MAC’s holiday offerings this year. The expansive collection, all 96 pieces, is covered in a festive plaid that screams posh punk. The line focuses on the fantasies of a Tartan Tale, everything from single lipstick bullets to sparkly nail lacquers. My top gift picks are the plaid-print felt topped eye shadow compacts, the trio lip kits and finally the brush kit with matching studded tartan pouch. I'll be disappointed if Santa, aka Dad, doesn't slip me one of these plaid palettes under the Christmas tree this year.
