Three Essential Summer Bras

Wearing white may help you stay cool during balmy summer days but figuring out what to wear under your light coloured clothes can be tricky. I avoided wearing white for the longest time because I found myself self-conscious about my bra showing through. Once I discovered that unlike white bras, nude bras don't show through white clothing, wearing white became less intimidating. Here are three nude hued bras that are prefect for any summer outfit. 1. Lightly Lined [caption id="attachment_3127" align="aligncenter" width="299" caption="Ella bra in Sand Dollar, Aerie, $29.50"] Ella bra in Sand Dollar, Aerie, $29.50[/caption] A lightly lined bra with a demi cup gives you enough lift without having to wear a bulky pushup bra on a hot day and isn't visible when wearing a v-neck or sweetheart neckline. 2. Convertible [caption id="attachment_3129" align="aligncenter" width="294" caption="Tactel convertible bra in Skin, Change, $38."] Tactel convertible bra in Skin, Change, $38.[/caption] The options are endless with a convertible bra. They can be worn strapless, one-strap, cross-back or halter to give you enough support without your bra straps showing while you're wearing your sundresses and tanks. 3. Bralette [caption id="attachment_3130" align="aligncenter" width="302" caption="Chantilly bralette in Pink Beige, Gap, $34.50"] Chantilly bralette in Pink Beige, Gap, $34.50[/caption] Bralettes are great for small chests since they are often wireless and unlined—but they don’t provide as much support as regular bras. They’re also handy when you’re wearing a top or dress with low-cut armholes and don’t want your bra to show. Available at Aerie, Change and Gap.
