Vancouver-based TV personality Monika Deol (of Electric Circus fame) found a gap in the foundation market for middle-of-the-spectrum skin tones (such as Indian, Hispanic and some biracial complexions), so she decided to fill it. The result is Stellar. "The Stellar woman is a global citizen," says Deol. "Makeup is not a superficial thing to me. It helps articulate personality and allows owmen to express who they are."
