Chinese Sesame Noodles with Chicken
You can quickly put together this scrumptious main course with leftover chicken. Look for sesame paste in Chinese and Japanese grocery stores; it's richer in flavour than its good substitution — tahini.

This is that amazing time of year when the sun is shining, birds are chirping, bees are buzzing and the fresh strawberry harvest is underway. Sure, we love these little bites of delight any old time, but local, homegrown ones always taste best!
Less-tender cuts of meat, such as this, are not only inexpensive but also lean and high in protein and iron. You can use a pressure cooker to speed things up, or you can simmer it on the stove top or in a slow-cooker. Serve with mashed potatoes and corn.
Traditionally served as a side dish, kimchi can also be added condiment-style to eggs, rice or soups.
Traditionally served with tea and often enjoyed for breakfast, buttery scones can be customized with your choice of fruit and dairy.

Enjoy the moistness of a carrot cake and the elegance of a Bundt cake all in one.
The absolute beauty of this meal is that it is what everyone I know loves: rustic, satisfying, easy to make, un-pretentious but so incredibly delicious that every single person I've ever made it for has requested a 'repeat performance' just days later! I think it's the perfect thing to serve for a casual night of entertaining- serve it with some great red wine (may I suggest a lovely Cabernet Sauvingnon?) and some balsamic & honey dressed arugula. This menu is condusive to a chilled out night full of great conversation and laughter with people you love. I definitely created it for the people I love!
