How to peel fresh ginger
Do you find it hard to peel around all the little gnarly bits of a hand of fresh ginger? Well, you already own the best tool for peeling gingerroot right in your cutlery drawer! You can definitely peel ginger with a knife or a peeler, but I find
the best (and safest) way is to use the edge of a spoon!
Ginger skin is very thin and easy to remove, particularly when the gingerroot is nice and fresh and plump. The great thing about using the edge of a spoon is that you can really get into all the little nooks and crannies without any danger of cutting yourself.
