Preheat oven to 425°F. Slice baguette in half lengthwise, then crosswise in 1 1/2-inch thick slices. Set aside.
In small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in garlic, chives, parsley and pinch sea salt.
Place baguette pieces on baking sheet. Brush bread with garlic butter. In small bowl, combine Cheddar and Parmesan; sprinkle cheese mixture over bread.
Cover baking sheet with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley, if using.
