As someone who never gets sick, I am shocked and angered. I've named my virus Rufio. He is the focus of all my hatred. However, I've unearthed an ancient flu cure recipe sent to me by Erin Young of Caché Film & Television, who partnered with Canadian Living to create the Family Meal Makeover series. (it's great, check it out!) Tonight, I have a date with a giant mug of this ancient drink recipe below. I'm copying it directly from Erin's email, in hopes that it helps some of you who have fallen prey to your own nasty Rufio. Apple Cider Vinegar Health Drink In  400 B.C. Hippocrates, the father of Medicine, treated his patients with natural apple cider vinegar for its powerful cleansing, healing and germ-fighting qualities. 1/2 fresh lemon, sliced 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 1-2 tsp any liquid or dry sweetener 1/4 tsp cayenne 2 cups water In a small pot add all the ingredients and bring to a slow boil over medium heat. Simmer for 5 minutes, strain and serve. Do you have a homemade flu cure-all? What is it? Share with your fellow Canadians!
