What Kate Middleton ate in New York and how you can eat it too!

[HTML1] The Duchess noshed on Scotch eggs, which are a British invention, dating back to the 1700s. The Brits consider scotch eggs to be a light meal, but we recommend you try them for breakfast using this recipe. Also at the reception were Gravlax canapes, which are actually a Scandinavian appetizer. They make a delicious addition to any winter brunch so it makes sense they were added to today's menu.

Of course, you don't invite Kate Middleton over and not offer her tea sandwiches! That would be disrespectful! Learn how you can make your own tea sandwiches for your next royal tea. Just don't forget your fascinator!

Finally, for dessert Kate enjoyed cranberry scones with clotted cream! Yum. We secretly hope they used Canadian cranberries. You need a little Canada in there just for good measure!
