I'm also a huge fan of ice cream in any form. (What lactose-tolerant person isn't, right?) And now both of my passions are united in one delicious, ridiculous package: The crazy geniuses at Ben & Jerry's have come out with the new flavour Ron Burgundy's Scotchy Scotch Scotch.
I haven't had a chance to try this ice cream, mainly because it involves searching out a place that carries it. Not all stores do, and it's hard to justify driving to 27 different grocery stores in an effort to find it. And, believe me, after reading Todd Brock's review on Serious Eats, I was sorely tempted to do just that.
But Ben & Jerry's has a neat little feature to save me the legwork: the Limited Batch Locator. Find a pint, share the location and other desperate seekers will follow the trail. So cool.
Tell me: How far would you drive for a pint of this ice cream?
