Celebrating Canada Day the ultimate Canadian way: At the cottage

From family-friendly activities to kid-favourite foods, here's everything that'll make this July 1 one for the books.

With farmers’ markets in full swing, now’s the time to take advantage of locally grown produce, like cobs of fresh corn. Husking can be made a family affair that’s fun for all ages.

Cottage life calls for swimming, dock diving and lakeside views; crisp white linens, simple hydrangeas and bold red accents create a casual yet refined Canada Day tablescape.

Maple leaf confetti and red and white hanging medallions offer a table setting a casual festive feel.

Raspberries give our Canada Collins cocktails, a patriotic twist on the classic Tom Collins, their brilliant ruby hue. While adults enjoy these gin cocktails, pint-size guests can relax or play games.

Salads starring fresh veggies, like our Tomato & Orzo Summer Salad and Avocado & Grilled Corn Salad, are sure to be a hit with guests of all ages.

Our Orange Ginger Steak & Chicken Kabobs make a fun and easy main, and our Canada Day Celebration Cake will be a fabulous finale to the party.
