Where to find the best hamburger in Canada?

In recognition of National Hamburger Day on May 28th, we’re searching for restaurants across Canada that serve the best, juiciest, freshest, flavourful hamburgers that are topped to perfection. We have our selection, but you can tell us where your favourite place to find the perfect burger is? 🍔 Make sure your local spot is represented.

Our Selection

The Hungry Moon (Scarborough, Ontario)

The Hungry Moon’s founders—Filipino-Canadian couple Faye Francisco and Chris Threlked—their entire life savings to specialize in fusion Filipino burgers. The Menu offers six burgs to choose from, or as they call them”Meat-eors.”

Burger Don (Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario)

Build your own burgers by customizing every ingredient, from bun to patty, and choosing from dozens of different toppings. If you prefer to leave your burger to the experts, however, you can go for one of their specialty burgers.

Regrub (Calgary, Alberta)

We took the high quality food and ingredients from a fancy restaurant, the casual laid back atmosphere from a burger joint, and the quirky fun novelty from a food truck, and thus REGRUB was born.

Wally's Burger (Vancouver, British Columbia)

Using only fresh local ingredients in the preparation of our burgers we strive to deliver the same delicious burgers Wally’s has served for over 50-years. Unheard of today, we have a local butcher who prepares our patties along with a local baker who bakes our buns fresh every day. We are proud to be an independent family owned and operated burger house and we hope you and your family will enjoy our food each and every visit.

Chez Victor (Québec City, Québec)

Since 1991, their chefs have been concocting gourmet burgers using fresh ingredients using local products from their beautiful region.

Chez Tousignant (Montréal, Québec)

The embodiment of the idea of a handful of chefs toasting, late at night: what if we created a place to transform fast food back? Salt in the butter. Proudly Quebecois cheesecurds. A nice burger. And a real hot dog.

QBurger, Qualicum Beach (British Colombia)

Woodshed Burgers (Edmonton, Alberta)

Our burgers are complemented by fresh baked Bon Ton Bakery buns, locally sourced toppings, fresh-cut fries, and the finest selection of craft beers, bourbons, and more. What makes us different from every other burger restaurant? The ingredients we choose, the care we take in preparing them, and the uniqueness of the flavour combinations we offer our guests. Our menu is small, this is intentional. We prefer quality over quantity.

Jonesies Take Out & Diner (Pennefield, New Brunswick)

Founded in 2012, our Poutinerie and Gourmet Burgers are well known in the community, offering a family friendly environment, bubbly vivacious staff, and a menu made unique by touches of the Jones Family.
