Method
Place chicken wings in bowl. Add soy sauce, hoisin, cornstarch, sesame oil, maple syrup, five-spice powder and garlic powder. Mix well to coat. Let stand, stirring a few times, for 5 minutes.
In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook wings, turning often, until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 15 minutes. Transfer wings to serving dish; sprinkle with green onions, microgreens and sesame seeds. Serve with rice, if desired.
TEST KITCHEN TIP
These wings can also be cooked in the air fryer at 400°F, turning once during cooking time, for 10 to 12 minutes.
