Preheat oven to 425°F. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
In shallow bowl, season flour with salt and pepper. In second shallow bowl, beat eggs. In third shallow bowl, stir together bread crumbs, Parmesan and almonds; season with salt and pepper.
One at a time, dip asparagus in eggs, then in flour, then in eggs again, then in the bread crumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere. Place asparagus 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheet. Spray asparagus generously with cooking spray.
Bake on upper rack of oven until asparagus are tender-crisp and breading is golden brown and crispy, 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with salt and serve with aioli, if using.
