Maple-Glazed Turkey Breasts

Method

Preheat oven to 325°F. Place turkey breasts in ovenproof Dutch oven and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

In measuring cup, whisk together maple syrup, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder and ginger; pour over turkey breasts. Sprinkle with pecans and season lightly with salt and pepper. Cover and bake, basting occasionally with pan juices, until instant­read thermometer inserted in centres of breasts reads 165°F, 1 hour 30 minutes. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Serve with Chestnut Stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and green peas, if desired.
