One-Pot French Onion Soup Pasta

Method

In large saucepan with lid, heat oil and garlic butter over medium-low heat.

Add onion, garlic, bay leaves and oregano; cook, stirring often, for 10 minutes. Add in wine, beer and broth. Increase heat to high; bring to boil. Add pasta and season with salt and pepper; stir to combine. Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 5 minutes; discard bay leaves. Stir in Cheddar and Parmesan. Sprinkle with Parmesan and oregano, if using.
