Marinated Hanger Steak
In blender, purée onion, garlic powder, brown sugar, sea salt, coffee granules and vegetable oil until smooth. Transfer marinade to large resealable bag; add steak and seal bag. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours (or overnight).
Toppings
In bowl, combine hazelnuts, onions and parsley. Sprinkle with fleur de sel and pepper; set aside.
Remove steak from marinade (reserve marinade); let steak stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat barbecue to medium-high heat (about 375°F); grease grill. Cook steak, basting with reserved marinade several times during cooking time and turning once halfway through cooking time, until it reaches desired doneness, about 8 minutes for rare. Transfer to cutting board; let rest for 5 minutes. Slice steak against the grain, place on serving plate and sprinkle with Toppings and drizzle with olive oil.
