Blood and Bones

This is one of my children's favorite comfort food lunches and they love to invite their friends for lunch to be able to tell them we are having "blood and bones" for lunch! The color of the sauce and the crunch of the toast is how it got its name. It is really a cheaters welsh rarebit but less work and just as delicious.

Method

Empty soup into a small pot without adding any liquid to it. Place on medium heat. Add the 2 cups of sharp grated cheddar. (I use the pregrated to save time!) Keep stirring until all the cheese melts and spoon onto toast. That's it!
