This gooey, cheesy chicken burger recipe is sure to please the whole family, especially the kids. Serve on a whole wheat bun, on top of mashed potatoes, on a bed of noodles, or on their own for a lighter meal with salad on the side.

In bowl, whisk egg white; whisk in onions, parsley, bread crumbs, water, mustard, salt, basil and garlic. Mix in chicken and shape into 6 patties about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thick.

Fry patties in lightly greased nonstick skillet over medium heat or broil or grill on greased rack about 4 inches (10 cm) from heat and cook for about 5 minutes per side or until golden brown on both sides and no longer pink inside. Top with cheese slices; cover pan and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, or broil or grill, until cheese melts.
