Homemade Lasagne

Do You Enjoy a Hearty Lasagne but also want something easy to prepare? I have served this several times to friends and family, and my friends enjoyed it so much, even the husbands were asking for the recipe! Also, any leftovers freeze well for a warm, filling, easy meal on a cold day.

In a large pan, brown beef until no longer pink. Drain grease. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, oregano and basil. Mix well. Simmer for 20minutes. Use a splatter screen and stir often. In a seperate bowl, stir together dry curd cottage cheese and 1/2 cup parmesean. Set aside. Cut or grate the Mozzarella Cheese Spray/Grease bottom of 9x13 baking dish. After meat sauce is finished simmering, spoon about 1 1/2 cups into a measuring cup and set aside. Then spoon about 1/3 cup onto the bottom of the baking dish, or just enough to cover bottom of baking dish. Lay 3 noodles length wise across and then break off one more for at the top of the pan width wise. Make THREE layers each of: Noodles, Sauce, Mozzerella Cheese, Dry Curd Cheese and Parmesean mixture. Over the last layer of dry curd cottage cheese and parmesean, put 1 1/2 cups meat sauce. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup parmesean Bake for 45minutes. Remove from oven and let it sit about 15mins. Serve with Ceasar Salad and Dinner Buns
