This is a fantastic family-friendly soup.

MethodTurkey Meatballs: In bowl, combine egg, onion, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil and pepper. Mix in turkey and cornstarch.
Shape by rounded 1 tbsp into balls. In slow cooker, arrange carrot and celery on bottom; top with meatballs. Add chicken broth and water.
Cover and cook on low until flavourful, 6 to 8 hours.
Transfer meatballs to plate. Strain broth, reserving liquid. Discard vegetables.
Return meatballs and broth to slow cooker; add cabbage, peas and onion. Cook, covered, on high until cabbage is tender, 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, in large pot of boiling salted water, cook noodles until tender but firm, about 4 minutes. Drain and stir into soup along with sesame oil.
