For Christmas, these little snowballs are wonderful. I remember my mother making these from the time I was very, very little, and that was quite some time ago. To keep the recipe the way I remember it, I use a liquid measure for everything, just the way Mom did it.

MethodMix dates and nuts, icing sugar, butter, and peanut butter well. Roll into balls.
Dip them in butter icing, roll in coconut, and chill.
