Method

Place potatoes in large saucepan; add enough cold water to cover. Season with salt. Bring to boil; cook until potatoes are tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Drain; cut potatoes in half. In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add potatoes and cook, stirring to coat well, for 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, if desired, and sprinkle with chives.
