Have you ever hit the high seas on a sailboat? Not only is it a great excuse to break out your Sperry's and striped ensembles, it's also great for your health. First, it's an outdoor activity that can be done at almost any age and ability. Second, studies have shown that spending time outdoors greatly benefits your overall health and especially your mental health. Third, it's fairly physically demanding. Hoisting a sail, tacking and basic maintenance are serious calorie burners. That's why when we were looking for locales to host our latest fitness shoot, we looked no further than a local sailing club along the Scarborough Bluffs. Located in Bluffers Park, the Scarborough Bluffs Sailing Club was a beautiful locale for our model and trainer to get the most out of their outdoor workout. The club had a beautiful swan duo to fend off the geese and we managed to capture some sailors and paddleboarders in the background of our shots.
