Method
Add gin, egg white, lemon juice and Raspberry Syrup to cocktail shaker. Add enough ice cubes to fill shaker half- way. Close shaker and shake vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds. Place cocktail strainer over shaker and pour cocktail into martini glass. Garnish with mini skewer of fresh raspberries.
Raspberry Syrup
In saucepan over medium-low heat, stir 1 cup each sugar and water until sugar has dissolved. Add 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries and simmer until pulpy. Let cool for 1 hour, then strain through fine sieve. (Make-ahead: Can be stored in airtight container and refrigerated for up to 1 week.) Makes 1 cup.
