Aight. Confession time. If you're a regular visitor to Canadian Living, you'll know I have a serious crush on chevrons. It's a pattern that frequently pops up in my designs, often in the form of DIY art that I've painted onto inexpensive craft store canvasses. But how do I always manage to get such clean lines, you might ask? Well, I don't have a miraculously steady hand, high-end brushes, or infinite patience with painters tape. I have chevron-patterned painter's tape.

  From the makers of FrogTape painter's tape, this chevon-patterned "ShapeTape" is, quite honestly, a DIY decorator's dream come true. One of my American media contacts shipped me a roll when it first hit the U.S. market last fall, and I've been hassling the brand ever since to bring this amazing product north of the border.
