Craft-lover's school fair kit: It's a cake walk

How to put on a cake walk
There is nothing like an old-fashioned cake walk. It's a decent money maker and lots of fun for everyone as there is little skill involved. Print up this file, and if you have access to a laminator, laminate the big numbers. Ask loads of people to bake cakes. Display them nicely to get people enthused. Cut up and put as many of these numbers in a jar as there are cakes. Organize music to play (live is amazing, a boom box is fine). You can either put the numbers on the floor or put them on 15 chairs, either way arrange them in a circle. People walk the circle, and when the music stops, either everyone sits down on a numbered chair or you stand on your number. The prize pulling person pulls a number out of a jar. The person sitting on that numbered chair or standing on that number gets to pick their cake. Cut up a bunch of hold tickets to ensure that people stay at your fair and don't have to walk around with cakes. Have fun.
