DIY: How to arrange heirloom plates for wall art
Don’t hide away from decorative heirloom dishware. Instead, display it as a stunning wall arrangement.
We chose a diamond-shaped arrangement. For a more relaxed look, skip the measuring and create a free-form design instead.
MATERIALS
• Vintage plates
• Wire plate hangers
• Measuring tape
• Pencil
HOW TO
1. Fit each plate with a hanger, as per the manufacturer’s directions.
2. Lay the plates out on a large work surface (such as the floor) in your desired arrangement, repositioning as needed.
3. Use the measuring tape and pencil to map out the arrangement on the designated wall.
4. Hang the plates with the provided hardware.
