Hi friends, Today is going to be all-meetings, all-the-time, so I thought I'd just pop in to say hello and share a few things that have caught my eye recently.
  • You know I'm fascinated by papercutting/scherenschnitte, so it's probably no surprise that this two-colour world map from Famille Summerbelle caught my eye. Check out the post over at Design*Sponge – they even link to a "how it's made" video. Neat!
  • How to sew a felt Rubiks Cube, from Obsessively Stitching. Silly but fun. Although I realize that many kids these days wouldn't have a clue what a Rubiks Cube is. (Yikes!)
  • My coworker Lisa labelled this as "useless but awesome" and I tend to agree: the USB Typewriter kit enables you to to retrofit your manual typewriter as a keyboard for any USB capable device. (Anybody out there willing to teach me to solder?)
I'm off to gather my notebook and get a glass of water before I head into the boardroom. Have a great day, and I'll see you here tomorrow!
