Hi friends, I'm taking a break from making magazines (I'm up to my neck in Christmas cookie recipes) to tell you that the magical sweater fix I posted about last week...totally works! Remember this sad state of affairs? (Every time I look at that miss-crossed I hear a sad trombone noise in my head.) All it took was a bit of time, a tapestry needle and a length of yarn. Yesterday afternoon, in the space of 10 minutes, I made that cable cross the right way again. Ta-da! Not bad, huh? It's not perfect, but I can live with it. Let's hear it for the wonders of duplicate stitch! I cast on for the back of the sweater on Sunday night, and I've got about 2 inches finished. Yep, I've got my work cut out for me...gotta go!
