Celine Dion live in Paris: Contest winner shares her experience

Late last year, one lucky Canadian Living reader won the opportunity to visit Paris and watch famous Canadian crooner Celine Dion perform live in concert. Sonia Del Corpo, along with her sister Rosanne (both pictured below), took off for the City of Love and experienced a once-in-a-lifetime trip that's sure to shine brightly in their memory books. They share their story.

By Sonia and Rosanne Del Corpo Paris was so great. The people were very friendly and helpful. We visited the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. We also saw all the fashion houses on our way to the Eiffel Tower. The food was also great, but the pièce de résistance was the Crème Brûlée -- it was to die for. I have to say the highlight of our trip was the CELINE DION concert.  We were sitting five rows from the stage on the floor, or as they say it, "the VIP section," because we sure felt like VIPs.  She was incredible and I have to say the Parisians really love her. She was in tears quite often from the applause and appreciation the audience showed her. She had a little mishap near the end of the show when she was singing the theme song from the Titanic movie -- the microphone stopped working. But, being the professional that she is, she had a good laugh and was somewhat in awe of us because we broke into song and started singing it for her. Again, my sister and I want to say thank you to Sony, Canadian Living and Air Canada for this beautiful, incredible gift we were given.  It truly was a dream come true. If not for your generosity we would never have been able to take a trip like this. From the bottom of our hearts thank you so much. Disclaimer: Thank you to Sony Music for providing Sonia and Rosanne Del Corpo with this amazing prize!
