Interview with a Kid: Christmas and Pugs and Rainbow Loom

Me: It's almost Christmas. What are you most looking forward to this holiday season? 9 year old: Seeing my grandma. I haven't seen her since Thanksgiving. Me: What do you most want to see under the tree this year? 9 years old: RAINBOW LOOM! Me: If you could have one Christmas wish come true, what would it be? 9 year old: That I could have a puppy...a pug...a cream coloured pug with a black nose. I would really, really love that. Me: What is the best Christmas gift you ever received? 9 year old: My mom got me a teddy bear one year. Some of the money from that bear went to the Children's Wish Foundation. I still sleep with it every night. This year some of my friends are making rainbow loom bracelets and giving them to sick kids. I wish I had Rainbow Loom too. Me: What does celebrating Christmas mean to you? 9 year old: It means getting together with my family, playing in the snow, playing games at night and having fun. It means being with my whole family...all of us, together. Me: Is there anything you want to say to all the people reading this today? 9 year old: Yes. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and that they all spent time with their families and feel loved.
