We all have our travel fetishes. For me, right up there with old cemeteries are swamps. I toured Lake Martin Cypress Swamp in Lafayette, Louisiana, in a tin boat during a rainstorm. Maybe not everybody's idea of a good time but for me it was heavenly. Why do I love swamps? 1.
