Baked Herbed Crepes with Chicken and Mushrooms
Stuffed crepes baked until golden and served with salad make an appetizing brunch or light dinner. It's easier to fill the crepes when the filling is cooled.

This dish can be served with or without the basic Tomato Sauce. If one chooses to have it with tomatoe sauce it is best to make the sauce first so that as the sauce cooks and becomes flavourful the rest of the recipe can be prepared. Sauce can be made in advanced to save time and so flavours have a chance to blend, making the sauce tastier. I like to make it a day in advance or even have it ready in the freezer for other pasta dishes.
Peaches might seem like an unusual pizza topping, but in this recipe, their sweetness is the perfect foil for salty, crispy prosciutto, creamy mozzarella and sharp arugula. We promise, once you try this, you'll be converted!
Swirls of berries and ice cream match perfectly with a crunchy granola crust.
Classic cheesecake is topped with a chunky sour cherry topping in this dessert favourite. The time it takes to bake on low heat helps keep the filling silky smooth. Cheesecake is easiest to cut when cold, so allow ample refrigerating time before serving.
This white lasagna dish, made with bechamel instead of tomato sauce, makes a satisfying gift to a friend in need. Look for packages of mixed mushrooms (shiitake, oyster and cremini) or buy a selection of each.
This is something our family makes once a year. It's our Christmas tradition. I like to make it for special occasions if I'm having friends over for dinner other times of the year too. Our friends and family just can't get enough of them. I have yet to find store bought perogies that compare to these ones. Once you try these, you may never go back. This recipe really didnt fit into any of your catagories, but it is one of those awesome home cooked meals all my family and friend rave about.
Cooking the tomatoes low and slow infuses them with smoky flavour and makes this simple appetizer anything but average. Cocktail tomatoes, which are about an inch wide, are the ideal size for this recipe. Use strongly flavoured wood chips, such as hickory, for the best taste.
Kids will love these breakfast pockets; they might even love helping to make them. Pizza dough is stretchy and tacky, so be sure that your work surface and hands are well floured to make the rolling process easy. Serve with salsa, ketchup or hot sauce. For best results, reheat frozen pockets wrapped in foil in the oven or toaster oven.
This classic Roman dish is typically made using tonnarelli or pici pasta, which are slightly thicker versions of spaghetti. It tastes best when made with fresh pasta, but you can substitute with 340 grams of any other long pasta, cooked al dente.
