Pork Puttanesca With Creamy Polenta
Common pantry ingredients such as olives, anchovies and capers give classic Italian puttanesca sauce loads of savoury flavour. Buttery polenta is perfect for soaking up all of the sauce's full-bodied goodness.

This is relatively simple and light dish. At the same time it is very delicious. You may want to use any fish you like or combine different kinds of fish, for example tilapia and salmon. The salmon and shrimp can be served with roasted vegetables, and it costs about 60 dollars.
Glazed salmon fresh off the grill is delicious on its own, but the pickled peach topping makes this dish out of this world! Even better, the crave-worthy condiment starts with humble canned fruit, perfect for when fresh peaches aren't available.
This dish is a favorite at our home for entertaining - it is delicious, easy to make and guests are always impressed with the presentation (we bring the plank directly to the table and serve off of it!). My husband, who is currently serving in Afghanistan, was home on leave recently and it was his homecoming request for dinner! Since we are currently living in New Brunswick, we love that fresh atlantic salmon is readily available and the maple syrup here is some of the best in the world! In the spring time, I love to serve this dish with steamed fresh fiddleheads tossed in garlic butter and jasmine or basmati rice (or wild rice when we were living near Winnipeg). At other times of the year, I serve garlic sauteed spinach. If you aren't a curry lover, just leave it out and the dish is still great! Cedar planked Salmon is fantastic on the grill but can also be prepared in the oven. Enjoy!!
After breading chicken or fish with this flavourful mix, you can either cook it right away or freeze it for future use. Be sure to use fresh (not thawed) chicken or fish if you plan to freeze the breaded pieces.
Stuffed with shrimp and scallops and napped with a delicate beurre blanc sauce, this salmon roll makes an elegant dish for holiday entertaining.
We prefer steaming over boiling because it prevents fresh crab from becoming waterlogged—and adding ingredients such as herbs, garlic and citrus during cooking enhances the crustacean's natural sweetness.
This recipe was inspired by my love for butter tarts. How wonderful it would be to incorporate this Canadian favourite into an entree. Using some of my favourite comfort foods, I created this unique savoury rich torte. This multi-layered dish is a delicate balance of sweet and salty. Chilled chardonnay, crusty baguette (lathered with real butter of course) and a crisp mixed green salad would be ideal accompaniments to complete this meal.
