Quick and Cute

Hi there,

Just a quick note today, as I'm about to set off on a crafty adventure! I'm planning to take lots of photos, so hopefully I'll be able to tell you a bit about it tomorrow (though not too much: it has to do with a story we'll be running in an upcoming issue, so I don't want to give away to much!).

In the meantime, I though you might like the idea of these bottlecap magnets from How About Orange. If it's as hot where you are as it is here (and it's sizzling here), chances are you're a) being tempted by the thought of cracking open a cold one and b) not too interested in any sort of knitting or quilting type of crafting. This craft works well with both a) and b)!

Jessica decorated her bottlecap magnets with cute images of vintage clocks, but it wouldn't be too hard to make your own designs – pictures of cute cocktails, for example, or funny looking dogs. Or let your kids loose with paper and markers, and make magnets out of the results of their work.

Have a great night, and I'll see you here tomorrow.
