My dog Maggie Mae is pretty adorable. But she’s also incredibly weird. I mean that in the nicest way possible—I love her dearly. But since she’s slightly odd, I decided I needed to write about her antics. They truly need to be shared with the world. So over the next few months I’m going to be sharing many Maggie stories. Here are some teasers about what to expect. Maggie eats a lot of weird things—I could write a book titled “Sh!t My Dog Eats.” Teaser: she ate a science kit and a teeth whitening tray. And she munched on a condom. Luckily, she hasn’t had any surgeries because of her eating habits, unlike poor Bear. Even though Maggie has been spared from emergency surgeries, she does have frequent trips to the vet. She has allergies. And anxiety—yes dogs can have anxiety. I’ve become a bit of an expert on dealing with dog anxiety, so I will be sharing my tips for helping anxious pets. Since you’re going to be hearing lots of stories about my dog, you should know some basic facts about her.
