NARS Vintage Nail Polish Collection, $21 each. Back by popular demand, NARS will be introducing the Vintage Nail Polish Collection featuring five on-trend yet truly classic polishes. These long-wear, high gloss varnishes are being pulled out of the archives for a limited time. They hit beauty counters on October 1st and retail for $21 bucks a pop, sold exclusively at Holt Renfrew. All five shades are inspired by classic cinema, each one has a corresponding name and description that inspired the creation of the colour. MASH: A rusty army green infused with specs of gold KING KONG: Copper wish a tone of brown and gold MIDNIGHT EXPRESS: Deep dark almost black navy ZULU: Forest Green FULL METAL JACKET: Gunmetal metallic I recently made a trip to Concepts Salon & Spa for a well overdue mani/pedi. I brought a few samples along for the ride to “test” out. I used Midnight Express on my toes and Zulu on my fingers. Loved both, but I fell hard for Zulu, it won out over Midnight Express because it was a little more unusual. I actually had people stopping me on the streets to find out what this uncommon hue was. I admit, the price tag for one of these bottles runs a little steep, but the quality is high, the sleek design is undeniable and the colours are unique. Not to mention the killer font, ok, ok I’ll stop geeking out over NARS. Any beauty geek should totally check them.
