To finish:
With right sides up, tapestry needle and 1 strand of yarn, sew cast-on edge of first piece to side edge of 2nd piece; sew cast-on edge of 2nd piece to side edge of first piece to form head opening (refer to photo if necessary).

For fringe, cut 35.5 cm (14 ins) lengths of yarn. Holding 6 strands of yarn tog, fold in half; with hook, pull loop through cast-on st at 1 corner, then thread yarn ends through loop and tighten. Rep to make evenly spaced fringe around outside edge.

This just-for-kids poncho pattern is included in Patons book No. 500812 "Twister Sisters" ($3.95) and is made with Patons Twister yarn. Find the book and the yarn at knitting or craft store near you (visit www.patonsyarns.com and check out the store locator).
