Oh no! This porridge isn't just fruity; it has honey in it, and everybody knows bears love honey. So three bears would be really, really, really, annoyed if any little girl wandered into their house and ate all this oatmeal! (Make sure that you're eating your own breakfast, or at least eat in a big group and keep your eyes open!)

Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup apricot nectar or orange juice
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 3 tbsp liquid honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups quick cooking rolled oats, not instant

Preparation

In saucepan, bring water, apricot nectar, apricots, honey, cinnamon and salt to boil; stir in rolled oats. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened.
