Asian Iceberg Bowl
This recipe makes 4 servings
Ingredients
- Salad:
- 4 cups iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1/2 sweet red pepper, sliced
- 15 snow peas, halved crosswise
- Dressing:
- 2 tbsp wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
- 1/4 tsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Preparation
Salad:
In salad bowl, combine lettuce, bean sprouts, red pepper and snow peas.
Dressing: Whisk together vinegar, mustard, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper. Whisk in vegetable oil. Whisk in teriyaki sauce and sesame oil.
Toss salad with dressing and serve.

Make A Meal:
Top With 2 cups (500 mL) Sliced grilled steak or deli roast beef, and serve.
Makes 2 main-dish servings.
