Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cut (1/2-inch/2 cm pieces) fresh rhubarb thawed
  • 2 cups cut (1/2-inch/2 cm pieces) frozen rhubarb thawed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 3/4 cup sliced strawberry

Method

In saucepan, bring rhubarb, sugar and orange juice to simmer; cook, stirring, until slightly tender, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in strawberries; cook until softened, about 2 minutes.

Let cool.
