Cool down with a frosty vitamin and mineral shakeup. Wrap peeled ripe bananas in plastic wrap and keep them in the freezer, ready to blend with juice for frothy afterschool thirst quenchers.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen peeled ripe bananas
  • 1 cup orange juice

Preparation

Cut banana into chunks; transfer to blender or food processor. Pour in juice; blend or puree until smooth. Pour into glasses.

Fruity Milk Sipper: Blend 1-1/2 cups (375 mL) milk or soy beverage with 1/4 cup (50 mL) raspberry, cranberry or pineapple juice concentrate.
