Buttered Clams on the Grill

Serve these simply delicious clams with some sliced baguette to soak up any clam juice and seasoned butter.

  • 1/4 cup 1/4cupbutter
  • 2 tbsp 2tbsplemon juice
  • 1 1clove garliccloves of garlic, pressed or minced
  • 2 tbsp 2tbspchopped fresh parsley
  • 1 lb 1lblittleneck clamlittleneck clams or cherrystone clams, (about 12)

Mix together butter, lemon juice and garlic; microwave on high until butter is melted (or melt in small skillet). Stir in parsley.

Grill clams, covered, over high heat until they open, about 8 minutes. Carefully, without spilling clam liquor in bottom shells, transfer to platter. Spoon some of the butter mixture into each.
