California Baby Green Salad
This recipe makes 4 servings servings
Ingredients
- 4 cups torn baby greens.php">greens
- 1/4 small sweet onion, sliced
- 1 peeled and chopped avocado
- 15 pitted black olives
- Dressing
- 2 tbsp wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 minced clove of garlic, optional
- 1/4 tsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetabIe oil
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh oregano
Preparation
In salad bowl, combine greens, onion, avocado and olives.
Dressing: Whisk together vinegar, mustard, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper. Whisk in vegetable oil. Whisk in orange juice and oregano.
Toss salad with dressing and serve.
Additional information :
Make A Meal:
1 Can (6.5 oz, 184 g) tuna, drained and broken in chunks
Top salad with tuna and serve.
Makes 2 main-dish servings.
