Kids can't resist the sweetness of the nutritious pineapple topping on this easy-to-make pizza.
Ingredients
- 1 12-inch prebaked pizza crust 1 112-inch prebaked pizza crust12-inch prebaked pizza crusts
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce 1/2 1/2cup cuptomato sauce
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh oregano , (or 1 tsp/5 mL dried)1 1tbsp tbspchopped fresh oregano, (or 1 tsp/5 mL dried)
- 1-1/2 cups sliced sweet green peppers 1-1/2 1-1/2cups cupssliced sweet green peppersweet green peppers
- 1 cup pineapple chunks 1 1cup cuppineapple chunks
- 1 cup sliced cooked chicken 1 1cup cupsliced cooked chicken
- 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese 1 1cup cupshredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
Preparation
Place pizza crust on pizza pan or baking sheet. Spread tomato sauce over top; sprinkle with oregano. Arrange green peppers, pineapple and chicken over top; sprinkle with cheese.
Bake in 500°F (260°C) oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, 8 to 10 minutes
