Here are all the essential flavours of a clubhouse in a quick grilled sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices multi-grain bread 2 slices multi-grain bread
  • 1 thin slice deli turkey 1 thin slice deli turkey or chicken
  • 2 thin slices tomato 2 thin slices tomato
  • 1 slice pre-cooked bacon , halved1 slice pre-cooked bacon, halved
  • 1/4 cup shredded Gouda cheese 1/4 cup shredded Gouda cheese

Preparation

Top 1 slice of bread with turkey, tomato and bacon; sprinkle with cheese. Top with remaining bread.

Grill in panini press until crisp, browned and cheese is melted, 2 to 3 minutes. (Or grill in skillet over medium heat, pressing and turning once, 5 to 6 minutes.)
