Ingredients
- 1 egg white 1 1egg whiteegg whites
- 1 tbsp water 1 1tbsp tbspwater
- 3 cups unsalted mixed nuts 3 3cups cupsunsalted mixed nuts
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 1/2cup cupgranulated sugar
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon 3/4 3/4tsp tspcinnamon
- 3/4 tsp instant espresso powder 3/4 3/4tsp tspinstant espresso powder
- 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 1/2tsp tspsalt
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg 1 1pinch pinchground nutmeg
Preparation
In bowl and using fork, beat egg white with water until foamy; add nuts, stirring to coat.
Combine sugar, cinnamon, espresso powder, salt and nutmeg; sprinkle over egg white mixture and stir to coat. Spread on parchment paper–lined or lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake in 275°F (140°C) oven until nuts are toasted, about 1 hour. Using wooden spoon, break up clumps. Let cool completely on pan on rack.
